On behalf of the Board of Directors, allow me to begin this message by offering my highest appreciation to the country of Indonesia and every colleague and partner I worked closely since in 2017. I personally believe that none of our achievement would have been successfully accomplished without the support of this great country that is full of abundant resources and opportunities.
As the founder of Kantara Group, I have seen our core strengths in technology for several industries such as construction, mining, infrastructure, agriculture, and also oil & gas to create efficiency and flexibility for our customers. What we have achieved today is a great demonstration of over years of resourcefulness and resilience and I am extremely proud of the performance of every single colleague who has helped shape Kantara Group to what it has become today.
We have seen tremendous growth and acquired many strategic and valuable assets to enrich our portfolio further, turning them around with the help of our competent and dedicated people, who always supported the management in achieving its vision. These acquisitions have helped us in spreading our wings into new business unit, new applications and new customers along with delivering enhanced earnings which have benefitted our shareholders.
With the end of 2021, we have completed a half decade and are commencing our journey for the next years, which looks brighter and even more promising. In fact, COVID-19 dominated the whole of 2020-2021 and tested the resilience of our business model. This has given us greater confidence and pride in our people and processes. As an event of global scale, it also forced us to pause, review the emerging trends and prepare ourselves to build a future-ready organization.
Our people are the most important assets of the Company. We value their contribution not merely as employees, but also as partners who need to be nurtured. Technology has changed how companies and its employees function. With technologies evolving every day, we realize that the fast-paced, ever-changing digital world impacts our people and workplaces — not only today, but in the future. For that reason, we constantly equip our people with new skills that will increase their competitiveness and professional value. We are committed to focus on human capital development, to become the most desirable company that continuously grows and expands by utilizing technologies and natural resources for the benefit of life.
Today, when I look back on the path we travelled, it gives me a sense of pride and confidence in our strong and diverse team, which is capable of handling any challenges under the leadership of the Group CEO. I would like to thank our customers, suppliers and other partners for their continued faith in our capability and helping us in improving our processes and in developing ourselves into a world-class company.
We would like to express our gratitude to God and our appreciation to all of our stakeholders for their commitments and their contributions in making Kantara Group a better company in the past, the present and the future. We would also like to address our appreciation to the Management and our dedicated team of employees for their hard work and perseverance, which have made all our achievements possible.
