History :
Jakarta Sneaker Day (JSD) is a platform (media & event) that focuses on sneaker culture and also other scenes & subcultures which of course are still related to the sneaker itself. JSD is here and continues to bring and share things about sneaker culture to wider audience through events, both offline and online, and of course also through promotions through social media that JSD has.
JSD has always believed in the spirit and vision of “Sneaker For Everyone” where everything should be when it comes to sneaker culture: be it knowledge, information, community, within, and of course the shoes themselves, should (and even should) be accessible to everyone
Biggest Achievement :
(2023) will be an achievement in itself where JSD will make the 5th offline event to be held at a new venue: Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, and also with the format longer: 4 consecutive days, from 23 to 26 February 2023.
(2022) - CONNECT & COLLABORATE
JSD 2022 is an event and momentum for JSD's return offline after almost 2 years stopped for a long time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only that, this event was also held with a larger area coverage by using The Hall & The Atrium, Senayan City Mall, Jakarta. The Atrium area is only used for area non-commercial and Experience Only.
(2019) - THE RISE OF SNEAKER CULTURE
Furthermore, JSD 2019 became an event where JSD made another breakthrough by collaborating with one of the largest intellectual works in Indonesia, Tahilalats, to create a visual event overall.
(2018) - BACK TO THE ROOTS
In 2018, JSD continues to use the same venue, The Hall, Senayan City Mall, Jakarta but takes a 3 day format (Thursday to Saturday). At this event, JSD was honored to welcomes the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo and his family, to attend JSD 2018.
(2017) - THE FIRST JAKARTA SNEAKER DAY
JSD was first held on 27 - 28 January 2017 at The Hall, Senayan City Mall, Jakarta.
